Position : J-Idol - Part of Piece!



You will be auditioning to be a Member for Part of Piece! - A Kawaii-Kei Idol Group produced by the Solo-J-Idol Wooly! This idol group is supported by 4QNQ - an idol production company based in Sydney, Australia with over 8 years of history in idol group production, including acts such as AGS102 and NEONism

General Audition Structure:

  1. Application (This form) - APPLY BY July 31st 2025 11:59PM AEDT

  2. Online interview - we will only contact successful candidates

  3. Audition - performance & media (in person) if you pass interview

  4. Final interview

  5. Results & Admission into Group

Basic Requirements:


  • Over the age of 18 by 15th of July 2025

  • Have the right to work in Australia

  • can sing in Japanese

  • living in Sydney Metro Area

  • can dance & sing

What we offer:


  • To be a part of Part of Piece!  - with the original songs & upcoming releases

  • Live support - equipment hire, live staff, etcetera

  • Music production

  • Outfit costs

  • Event bookings and minimum appearance guarantees

  • Marketing & Social media support

  • Live commission for performances

  • Remuneration will be based on your performance level and only discussed with successful applicants

Your role entails:

  • Vocal and Dance performances at least monthly under the Idol format

  • Performance of Original Music + a limited amount of covers

  • Expectation to follow producer for creative direction

  • Performance and Meet n Greet, at minor and major event appearances

  • Learning, practising and rehearsal of performances prescribed to you

  • You will have your likeness published online

  • Basic social media marketing

  • Maintaining a professional image in public in person and online

In Addition what may help your application:

  • Have prior performance experience (does not have to be idol)

  • Have stable study and/or work arrangements

  • Have study and/or work arrangements that do not exceed a full time load (in total)

  • Have no prior contact nor conflicts with potential customers

  • You are a team player and communicator; you are willing to take on new challenges and take direct and harsh feedback, but also are happy to give feedback back to your team when needed

  • You are able to set aside a few hours a week to practise in person with the group

  • You are generally able to keep weekends (Sundays or Saturdays) free for performances

  • You are not part of any organisations that may result in a conflict of interest (this includes event organisers, or student organisations that have significant power over the performance scene)

  • You will disclose any conflict of interests that may arise

  • You live within 20km of Sydney CBD

Other Info:

  • Disclosing and/or posting publicly any information related to the audition is strictly prohibited and will automatically disqualify you from the audition process.

  • No costs related to the audition will be covered such as Transport, food, or drink.
